This weekly radio show features host and Sotheby's International Realty's Associate Broker Rey Post (NM REC License #45660) and a variety of special guests offering the best news, information and commentary regarding every aspect of today's real estate market.
In the first hour of the show, join Rey and his guest co-host, Bonnie Davis, Professional Community Association Manager of Westgate Properties, LLC, for a Memorial Day-inspired discussion of current real estate issues.
Memorial Day was first widely observed in May 1868. The celebration commemorated the sacrifices of the Civil War, with a proclamation declaring this occasion given by U.S. General John A. Logan. Following the proclamation, participants decorated graves of more than 20,000 Union and Confederate soldiers. In years since World War I, the day has become a celebration of honor for those who died in all America’s wars, as well as those who are veterans and current members of the U.S. military. In 1971, Memorial Day was declared a national holiday, with our nation marking this holiday on the last Monday of May.
In the spirit of the holiday, Rey, Bonnie and their guests will offer some thoughts on why we honor and remember those who died in active military service, as well as value the commitment the members of our military bring to the United States.

Real Estate Brokers Remember Memorial Day: Rey will share some observations on why it is important to take time to remember the sacrifices of our military, which produced the freedom that Americans enjoy today. Rey will offer some ideas on how to celebrate this important American holiday. In addition, the Sotheby's International Realty® brand has recently partnered with New Story, a non-profit organization that puts 100 percent of donations toward transforming dangerous living environments into communities of safe, sustainable homes, for $6,000 a home.
