In 1986, I visited Santa Fe, New Mexico. I fell in love with it's beautiful light, vivid landscapes, and vast arts scene. It has been my home ever since...
I create from the uniqueness of my soul,
trying to keep my mind free of dogmatic images.
My goal is to paint part of my unexpressed self.
I do this by layering many translucent, vibrant hues,
which create new spectrums, shapes, and compositions.
My work is organic, and flows into unpredictable changes.
It is geometric and balanced.
I don’t want to impose preconceived notions
on the viewer.
My wish is, for one to let go of every thought,
clear the mind, and just absorb.
I want the viewer to connect with each piece,
and feel a mutual, visual heartbeat.
It’s a gift to be able to share my talents.
“To create one’s own world in any of the arts takes courage.” Georgia O Keeffe.
Singer/Songwriter: John Cole
John Cole, aka Percolator John, pursued music as a form of freedom of expression. Songwriting, off and on since 1994 to present, about the southwest, and accents important to himself and others. Growing through life, music remains his focus of interest. Wanting to open his musical soul, he and his lovely wife Karen, have begun to play semi-professionally around Santa Fe.
John shares his original music along with covers that match his unique, very rhythmic, tone. His energy drives the soul of his sound.
“When I write, I enjoy a certain amount of fiction, blending the words into my energetic rhythms. My musical root comes from the late ’60s and early ’70s. My expression is unique, giving experiences through fictional stories. I love to entertain.”
John is a long time graphic designer, who has turned to web development and founder of his start up Muezbiz.com. Where music fans profit representing musician’s creations on regional bulletin boards.
