Presbyterian supports the market in a variety of ways, including providing patients and employees vouchers to shop at the market, offering nutrition education and health resources at the market, and purchasing local food directly from farmers.
Community partners working together to increase participation in the Santa Fe Farmers’ Del Sur Market include Presbyterian, the Santa Fe Farmers Market Institute, YouthWorks Social Justice Kitchen Food Truck, the Santa Fe Children’s Museum, Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, and more. Cooking With Kids will be providing weekly activities during the market for kids featuring recipes and seasonal produce from the Del Sur Market vendors. Other special events throughout the market season will include a Chef Showdown and a salsa showcase.
