This large-scale circus-themed layout will feature 70 railcars complete with engines, circus animals, character figures, circus equipment, and everything else needed for the circus to roll into town for another unforgettable show. This impressive layout requires floor space, offering an engaging view from the ground up.

In addition to the displays, visitors can purchase gently used train items — ideal for budding collectors and experienced model train enthusiasts looking to expand their collections.

About the Santa Fe Model Railroad Club

The Santa Fe Model Railroad Club, a dedicated group of model train enthusiasts, brings the history and artistry of model trains to life. Beyond hosting seasonal shows, the club has a significant presence around Santa Fe, managing permanent displays celebrating New Mexico’s unique history and culture.

One of the most cherished displays is the detailed model at the New Mexico History Museum on the Santa Fe Plaza. This layout faithfully replicates Lamy, NM, as it looked in the 1930s, complete with the historic Lamy Train Station, the iconic Legal Tender, and other landmarks. The club also sets up festive holiday layouts at First National Bank on Plaza de Santa Fe each season, spreading holiday cheer with an impressive model train scene.

Don’t miss this weekend filled with nostalgia, community, and miniature marvels. Whether you’re a seasoned model train lover, a newcomer to the hobby, or a family looking to inspire the younger generation, the Santa Fe Model Railroad Club’s Fall Show is sure to delight!
