Cat Tracks Week of April 23

The Manhattan Transfer was here at the Lensic a little while back and they gave us a little preview of their new CD The Junction which we just received and are happy to play. Sax player Don Braden has a new CD Earth Wind and Wonder with songs by Earth, Wind and Fire and Stevie Wonder.

We’re happy to have our first podcast posted! Roberta Donnay of the Prohibition Mob Band was in our studio last week and our morning DJ Richard did an interview with her. A very nice person with some great CD’s. Check out the podcast.

Now that we’ve gone through the Beatles albums we’re going to go through some of the albums of the artists that provided the music. We’ll start off with Lisa Lauren’s Lisa Lauren Loves the Beatles from 2012. This is a great album that I hope you’ll enjoy this Tuesday night at 7 on The Beatles- All Jazzed Up.

Nacha Mendez livens things up with Latin Jazz every Wednesday night from 7 to 9 on Viva Jazz. This Wednesday she’ll be playing Bossa Nova, Samba and more music from Brazil

Gather all your cool cats and kittens and join us in the Kitty Cat Lounge this Thursday night from 7 to 10. Dogs and puppies also allowed. We do not discriminate.

This week on A Sunday Kind of Love Rocki Gorman will feature music about flowers. Spring has sprung! Catch her this Sunday morning from 9 to 10.
