Get ready to laugh until your sides hurt because CloudTop Comedy Festival is back this spring from May 9 to 12 in the vibrant city of Santa Fe, NM. With more than 50 comedians gracing the stage, including headliners Chris Estrada, Liza Treyger, Nikki Bon, and Calvin Evans, this festival promises to be a hilarious extravaganza that you won’t want to miss.

CloudTop Comedy Festival will again take place at venues throughout Santa Fe’s vibrant Railyard Arts District so that festival goers can enjoy venues within walking distance of one another. Headliners will perform in the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market Pavilion but festival goers can also catch performances at the El Museo, the Railyard Performance Center, The Sage Social Kitchen + Bar, the Violet Crown, and Minerva Canna Downtown. 

 

From stand-up to improv, this nonprofit festival offers a wide variety for everyone’s comedic taste, including free comedy shows each day of the festival and opportunities to earn festival passes through volunteering.

 

This year’s festival will feature the BAD INDIAN showcase, celebrating Native American comedic talent. With performers like Joshua Emerson and local comedian Joshua Fournier, these performances promise to be both entertaining and culturally significant. Additionally, the festival will feature a showcase of Hispanic and Latino talent with host Zach Abeyta. The festival will close with a Mother’s Day brunch and comedy show on Sunday, May 12, at 11 a.m. at Iconik Coffee’s Red location celebrating the hilarious comedians at the festival who are also moms.

 

But it’s not just about the laughs at CloudTop Comedy Festival, It’s also about community and partnership. CloudTop Comedy Festival is proud to be presented by Hutton Broadcasting this year. With their support, we’re bringing you the comedic extravaganza of the year! CloudTop is also proud to partner with the city and county of Santa Fe. These partnerships enable CloudTop to offer two free workshops to the public, adding another layer to this sought-after event.

 

Beyond the laughter of CloudTop Comedy Festival is the art that takes the experience to a new level. Melissa Godoy Nieto was commissioned to design the festival’s main stage. Her whimsical large-scale textiles add an extra layer of visual appeal to the already vibrant atmosphere of the festival.

 

Founded and directed by Jessica Baxter, an experienced arts administrator and event director, CloudTop Comedy Festival aims to create a robust community of comedians and comedy-goers across Northern New Mexico. By hosting world-class and up-and-coming comics, Baxter hopes to make Santa Fe a yearly destination for this lively festival.

 

Tickets for CloudTop Comedy Festival are available now, with individual tickets priced between $15 and $35. Don’t forget the daily free shows! Evening passes and weekend wristbands can also be purchased. Additionally, there is a volunteer-for-tickets exchange program, allowing attendees to get involved while enjoying the festival.
