The Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe doesn’t just torch the giant puppet Zozobra in early September to burn away our glooms. The club also supports local talent by auditioning singers to perform the national anthem at the September event, the Fourth of July, and New Year’s Eve. United Way of Central New Mexico (UWCNM) will announce its new name at a community event from 1:30 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center in Santa Fe.
