Donald Rubinstein from the Santa Fe Performance Exchange - Part 1

Donald Rubinstein, composer, singer/songwriter, and multi-media artist, made his musical debut at age 25, composing the score to George A. Romero's cult classic film Martin. It was named one of the “Top 100 Coolest Soundtracks of All Time” by Mojo magazine in 2002. Since then he has released 22 CDs, ranging from Americana-influenced rock, to jazz, to experimental; scored several feature films; main titles for two television series; and performed and recorded with numerous world renowned jazz and folk/country artists. “Fingers,” his duet with Bill Frisell, was included on Jazziz Magazine’s limited edition 20th anniversary CD, “Celebration of the Modern Era.”
