Hutton Broadcasting’s ESPN Santa Fe has found an additional frequency to broadcast their top tier sports radio station at 93.7 FM Santa Fe. As of October 13, 2021, at 4 p.m., ESPN Santa Fe now broadcasts at 93.7 FM, in addition to 1400 AM where ESPN has been enjoyed for 15 years.

Scott Hutton, owner and general manager of Hutton Broadcasting, says, “ESPN is recognized as the worldwide leader in sports, and we are proud to have found a place on the FM dial where our audience can enjoy world-class entertainment, including NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball games, in addition to national sports talk shows.”

Program Director Brad Brown states, “ESPN has long been the pinnacle of sports radio and now Santa Fe has the best sports radio on FM. We’re excited to offer this to area sports fans!”

Longtime Santa Fe broadcaster Carl Twibell is excited about expanding the listening audience at 93.7 FM. “This is my 46th year broadcasting high school sports in New Mexico and my 43rd year in Santa Fe. This gives us another opportunity to increase our listening audience and promote high school sports in Santa Fe and northern New Mexico.”

Twibell adds, “This is huge for high school sports in Santa Fe. Now you can hear Santa Fe High, Capital High School, St. Mike’s and numerous other schools on Friday nights and Saturdays throughout the fall with football and into the winter with high school basketball.”

Hutton Broadcasting acquired 93.7 FM through the AM Revitalization Act, which allowed AM station owners to receive an FM translator on available frequencies.

The Hutton Broadcasting family includes KBAC-FM 98.1 Radio Free Santa Fe, KTRC TALK1260/103.7 FM, KVSF FM 101.5-FM The Cat Jazz, 107.5 Outlaw Country, KVSF-AM ESPN 1400/103.7, SantaFe.com, LasCruces.com, Hutton Productions, Traction Works, Neighbors magazine, over 130 digital display billboards and a hotel network.
